Sturbridge Race Analysis

I swear I'm not this out of shape, or at least I hope not.

I'm impressed you could maintain 185 bpm plus for 4.5 miles. No wonder you took a wrong turn, you were probably hallucinating. You're body basically told you to F@ck off that day.

I meant to ask you at the race, but are you for sure doing the whiteface hill climb instead of redeeming yourself at the monson rr?

yeah my body hated me that day. i guess i was somewhat pleased to see that my HR really was up there and i just wasn't being a total sally. still gotta nail down why though, whether it's allergies or w/e

didn't they have 2 monson rr's last year (not including the crit)? I'm pretty sure they did. you know i want a second shot at that course, but the whiteface hill climb sounds too good to pass up.

here's an idea, monson probably starts ~8am again, whiteface isn't until 530pm (which rules), we could do both!

Along with this graph of your insane HR, you should also put up the map of the route so people can see that you went the right way on the first lap and then blatantly cut off a big section on your second, not to mention the second of only two climbs. I still find it amazing how you pulled that one off. Where was the cop that was supposed to be standing there pointing in the right direction?

hahaha maybe i will do that tonight. the cop was standing in the middle of a fork in the road. the problem was that an impatient driver pulled out right in front of me and the cop was trying to direct him when i thought he was directing me where to go. i had to slam the brakes to avoid the car then went the wrong way. you'd think the cop would have said something to me but he must've thought i was warming up or something.
